Shucks! Cippola the Italian Restaurant is no more. Max the Owner Chef sold it to some Tintin loving Belgian who set up a ... Belgian... restaurant. Can't comment on the food, daddy felt so sick with fever he went home early.

The Ipad era

End 2010 is probably going to be the peak of the Ipad era. Here I am with Matthew and Jason in Uncle Yap's house, the Ipad is an instant hit. I hope they buy one too.

Christmas in Malaysia is crazy big, with special Xmas stands everywhere. This is Megamall.... wow. Nothing in Singapore touches this scale of Xmas retail mania man.

Lost My First Tooth!

This is my first lost tooth! I actually went to the dentist the day before, the dentist said that this is a little early but the teeth are pretty healthy anyway, so no cause for worry.

My Zion Kindergarten Concert

Fishing in Avillion Port Dickson

Every year, we go to Avillion in Port Dickson a few times. Mummy books the best rooms, those built on the sea. Here's Grandma and Grandpa there, fishing. We bought bait from the local Bait and Tackle shop, the expensive worms. But still no luck, but ... it's fun!

Jasper appears in Digital Life

I gave a discounted Asus eeePC 701 to Jasper and he used it to watch Youtube and do some flash games, and Digital Life wanted to cover it. I took some shots to save time, this was the shot they used.
Back from the near future viewpoint 2010/12/25: This was the crazy era when the eeePC was super great sales. Later it would be clear that Netbook super sales were just a flash in a pan, when it was realised that it didn't take too much more to build a full powered laptop like the Acer 3820 in 2010, super features, at S$899 for an I3 model. The premium, like S$300 bucks, was nothing to Singaporeans. Perhaps netbooks would do better in some poorer countries.

The Kite is REALLY easy to fly!

Check it out. I'm not looking at it, and it still went on forever. Really a nice kite, an easy kite. Don't listen to them when they say the box kite as superior a-ro-dynamix.

Yes I'm flying the kite all by myself. The easiest kite to fly, we bought it from the Centrepoint Party Shop. Daddy was so impressed.

Digital Life features Jasper with PSP

Digital Life featured Jasper with the PSP. Many of Jasper's cartoons, daddy compressed all Jasper's favourite cartoons and put it into a 8GB Lexar Memory Stick Duo Pro card and stuck it into a PSP. The PSP2000 had Video Out too, so .. instant videos everywhere, on demand.

Back from the future comment, 26Oct2010: Well it took until 2010 when Apple released the Ipad when something similar came about. And even then, the Apple needed to use Itunes to do a transfer ... the PSP is still more convenient, with swappable storage etc.

Jasper receives his first letter!

Someone sent Jasper his first letter, he was so THRILLED to receive it! I think there was a balloon inside too!

Uncle Hooi's birthday

Chinese New Year dinner cum Uncle Hooi's birthday celebration! And I love birthdays and birthday cakes! Last year daddy had to be with Uncle Alan saving some accident victim, this year daddy was here the whole time. I wish the cake was mine to blow .....

So many many tea plants

The Boh plantation has endless rows of tea plants. I liked the smell here and the machines were interesting. Best of all there were other children.
